The 2025 Appalachian Brew and Music Festival brings you great craft breweries from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina & Alabama. There will also be delicious food from area restaurants, regional arts & crafts, and lots of Appalachian & Americana music! *Sign up to be a volunteer and receive free admission after your shift and all the beer samples you want! Ride the Rails Event – Tri-State Model Railroaders

A Fundraiser to benefit Tri-State Model Railroaders and the Historic Mineral Bluff Depot! 2025 RIDE THE RAILS SCHEDULE October 25-26 Rides are at 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm Fun to be had: A 5-mile round-trip ride by Railroad Motor Car traveling through the Iron Bridge over the beautiful Toccoa River to Murphy Junction and returning over the bridge back to the Historic Mineral Bluff Depot. Then, take a short ride on the genuine Railroad Hand Car. Real fun for all ages. Special for children: Ride the miniature 7½ gauge hand car for free! Also, visit inside the Depot and see the progress being made on the large “HO Scale” model railroad based on the L&N Railroad’s “Old Line” from Atlanta, GA, to Etowah, TN, and the branch line through Mineral Bluff to Murphy, North Carolina. See everything that’s new!

All ghouls, goblins, and princesses are invited to a spooktacular night of trick-or-treating at Meeks Park. Dress in your best costume and compete for prizes in several age groups. Food trucks will have food available if you wish to enjoy at the park or take home after the festivities. A big thank you to all the businesses that participate in this event every year and make it a special night for the kids. Please let the Chamber know if you'd like to hand out candy or for those not able to attend and are able to donate candy - it's much appreciated!

Bigfoot Boogie 5K

A legendary run that you WILL believe! Bigfoot Boogie 5K is the event that started it all. Though it’s now our final 5K in the Riverwalk Run Series, it remains the fan favorite. Held in early November, this twilight 5K sets the stage for cool fall vibes and maybe even a few Bigfoot sightings! The course features stunning views of fall foliage along the Toccoa River, with participants encouraged to embrace the fun or just soak in the mountain town atmosphere. About the Riverwalk Run Series The Riverwalk Run Series is America’s only two-state 5K series, featuring three scenic events - Trout Trot 5K, Walk the Line 5K, and Bigfoot Boogie 5K - that take participants across the state line between McCaysville, GA, and Copperhill, TN. Each 5K highlights the changing seasons and character of the Copper Basin while offering one-of-a-kind experiences. Each 5K is walker-friendly, stroller-friendly, and dog-friendly, making it a great event for runners, joggers, and participants of all abilities. These events are official Peachtree Road Race qualifying 5Ks, providing participants the opportunity to submit their finishing times for the world’s largest 10K. Runners and walkers who complete all three events earn the Riverwalk Run Series Challenge item, recognizing their achievement in completing America’s only two-state 5K series!
