Adapted by Dwayne Harford from Kate DiCamillo’s beloved novel, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is more than a children’s story—it’s a profound exploration of love, loss, and emotional awakening, brought to life by an intimate ensemble of actors and musicians. Edward, a porcelain rabbit once too vain to love, is cast adrift—literally and figuratively—on a journey through the hands and hearts of strangers. Though he cannot move or speak, Edward becomes a silent witness to grief, resilience, and hope, ultimately discovering the courage to love again. The play’s emotional depth and minimalist storytelling offer a rare opportunity for audiences to reflect on empathy and transformation in a world that often rushes past both. This all-ages show is brought to you by The Fred Register Endowment for Children’s Theatre at Young Harris College.

The Hiawassee Night Market started with a conversation that generated after visiting another market in South Georgia and recognizing the need for a market like this, one where people of all ages could gather in an outdoor setting, enjoy local artists, food (fresh and prepared), with music. The Hiawassee Downtown Development Authority (DDA) knew that such a market aligned with their vision of what was needed in the downtown area and the Night Market was created. The concept was simple: offer art, live music, games, and food in an open outdoor setting that would be welcoming for guests of all ages.

Michael Daves and Jacob Jolliff are two of America’s premier bluegrass talents. After years of collaborating in various bands and informal settings they have teamed up as a formidable duo featuring high lonesome vocal harmony and fiery flatpicking. Their sound is an homage to the classic guitar-mandolin “brother duets” while leaving plenty of room for improvisation and inspired left turns. They effortlessly straddle the line between hard-core traditional bluegrass and experimental forms.
With more than 2.6 million albums sold and over 2.8 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With independent album Go Down Singin' available everywhere now as the follow-up to the critically acclaimed I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, and both brought together on brand new offering Fireside Sessions, Rice's sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life; from emotional reckoning to an admiration of the American West. The new music serves as a follow up to his three-part project, The Album, which featured his latest Platinum-certified No. 1 hit, “Drinkin' Beer. Talkin' God. Amen.” and the Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “Lonely If You Are.” This is the same gravelly-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better, freer; unbeholden and uninhibited. The new music builds upon the success of his sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, which featured the 3x Platinum, two-week chart topper “Eyes On You” – Rice's first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career. Lambs & Lions followed Platinum-certified Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; Platinum-certified “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and Double Platinum “Ready Set Roll.” In addition to guesting on sold-out stadium shows with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks, Rice served as direct support on Dierks Bentley's 2024 Gravel & Gold Tour and consistently sells out venues on his own headlining tours across the U.S. and beyond. McCoy Moore With an uncanny power to mold the God's-honest-truth into casual, clever hooks – plus a disarming charm that can't be faked – singer-songwriter McCoy Moore makes the kind of country that never tries too hard, but always hits just right. Signed to TRACK mgmt, Neal Artist Dev / The Neal Agency and SMACK Songs, the 23-year-old talent an instant-classic vocal and a no-pretense style, mixing modern sonic energy with timeless heart. An avowed Average Joe with all the gifts of a small-town poet, everything from Keith Whitley's emotional courage to the nostalgic genius of Kenny Chesney helped shape his country love. Native to outside Lakeland, Florida, Moore went on to take guitar and voice lessons instead of geometry, developing a rich, commanding baritone he mostly used at home. But everything changed in 2018, when the 16-year-old dreamer met a rising star named Luke Combs. Offering sage advice, Combs encouraged Moore's relaxed-fit authenticity while preaching the make-it-happen gospel … and the newcomer took it to heart. Moving to Nashville at 19, Moore spent the ensuing years honing a craft defined by sharp country hooks and warm, welcoming relatability, already earning cuts by Shane Profitt, Roman Alexander, Bryce Mauldin and more. Now, his own artist career begins with “Something to You.” A coming-of-age anthem built on riveting vocal passion, thumping heartbeats [...]

He and his two older sisters grew up in a Baptist Church where his dad pastored for many years. At just 11 years old, he sang the old Bill Gaither song, "God Loves to Talk to Little Boys While They're Fishing" on a local radio show. When he was a teenager in youth choir, Jody's youth pastor pulled him forward to sing a solo. It was moments like these that impacted Jody's future in church music! Jody began to write and create music, recording his first project at age 15 and has recorded 6 more albums since then. Jody's earliest influences in music were from traveling Southern Gospel groups that stopped to sing at his family's church along their way. Through people like The Hinsons, The Kingsmen, and The Cathedrals, Jody heard the power of Southern Gospel harmonies and song lyrics. It had a permanent affect on his life! Jody has led worship for 25 years. He currently leads worship at Judah Church in South Carolina. He enjoys spending time with his two sons Judah and Asa. Seth J. Elbe was born in St Louis, MO and has moved 39 times, spending the majority of his life between Georgia, Florida, and Texas. From a family a 6, with two older brothers and a younger sister, he started humming melodies before he could talk. His family sang together in local churches. When traveling, they would practice harmonies in the car to southern gospel music and the occasional Oakridge Boys cassette. From a very young age Seth learned to cook from his mom, and enjoyed it so much that he worked in a few restaurants during High School. Though he eventually he chose to focus on music and not cooking, you can [...]

John L. Cleaveland, Jr. received his BFA from the University of Georgia and held a Graduate Assistantship in the UGA Studies Abroad Program in Cortona, Italy. He has exhibited his work at the Huntsville Museum of Art, the Albany Museum of Art, Blue Spiral 1 Gallery, University of Georgia, Madison Morgan Cultural Center, Lyndon House Art Center, and the Missouri State Botanical Gardens. His paintings are in the permanent collections of the Asheville Art Museum, the UGA State Botanical Garden of Georgia, the Combat Art Collection at the U.S. Marine Corps Museum, the Morris Museum of Art, 3-M Company, Bessemer Trust, and the Alabama Power Company. “My paintings are specific expressions of places I’ve been to that I love that I’m connected to, or that I’m pushed to some expression by. I’m not necessarily looking for a thing so much as I’m looking for a feeling — something that might tell a greater truth but in a very simple way.”
Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder A life full of music. That's the story of Ricky Skaggs. By age twenty-one, he was already considered a “recognized master” of one of America's most demanding art forms, but his career took him in other directions, catapulting him to popularity and success in the mainstream of country music. His life's path has taken him to various musical genres, from where it all began in bluegrass music, to striking out on new musical journeys, while still leaving his musical roots intact. Ricky struck his first chords on a mandolin over 60 years ago, and this 15-time Grammy Award winner continues to do his part to lead the recent roots revival in music. With 12 consecutive Grammy-nominated classics behind him, all from his own Skaggs Family Records label (Bluegrass Rules! in 1998, Ancient Tones in 1999, History of the Future in 2001, Soldier of the Cross, Live at the Charleston Music Hall, and Big Mon: The Songs of Bill Monroe in 2003, Brand New Strings in 2005, Instrumentals in 2007, Salt of the Earth with The Whites in 2008, Honoring the Fathers of Bluegrass: Tribute to 1946 and 1947 in 2009 and Ricky Skaggs Solo: Songs My Dad Loved along with Mosaic in 2010), the diverse and masterful tones made by the gifted Skaggs come from a life dedicated to playing music that is both fed by the soul and felt by the heart. In 1971, he entered the world of professional music full-time with his friend, the late country singer, Keith Whitley, when the two young musicians were invited to join the band of bluegrass patriarch Ralph Stanley. Ricky soon began to build a reputation for creativity and excitement through live appearances and recordings with acts such as J.D. Crowe & the New South. He performed on the band's 1975 debut album for Rounder Records, which is widely regarded as one of the most influential bluegrass albums ever made. A stint as a bandleader with Boone Creek followed, bringing the challenges of leadership while giving him further recording and performing experience. In the late 1970's, Ricky turned his attention to country music. Though still in his 20's, the wealth of experience and talent he possessed served him well, first as a member of Emmylou Harris' Hot Band and later as an individual recording artist on his own. With the release of Waitin' for the Sun to Shine in 1981, Skaggs reached the top of the country charts and remained there throughout most of the 1980's, resulting in a total of 12 #1 hits. In 1982, he became a member of the Grand Ole Opry, the youngest to ever be inducted at that time. As his popularity soared, he garnered eight awards from the Country Music Association (CMA), including “Entertainer of the Year” in 1985, four Grammy Awards and dozens of other honors. These achievements also placed him front and center in the neo-traditionalist movement, bringing renewed vitality and prominence to a sound that had been [...]

Twenty-plus years after a truly epic debut, “this country music thing” MCA Nashville recording artist Josh Turner does is still as clear and consistent as ever. A rock-solid dedication to traditional roots. An unshakable focus on craftsman quality. A once-in-a-generation vocalist, with a rumbling bass that never falters. But as the South Carolina native knows, “consistent” has never meant “static.". Turner has seen the trends come and go and soldiered through the ups and downs of an often fickle business. He's stayed true to himself – even as the ground beneath him shifted – and now, he's in the sweet spot of creative confidence. With his 10th studio album, Turner keeps doing This Country Music Thing like only he can – and it's still important work. “This is who I am. This is who I was born to be – it's something that feeds me and fulfills me, and I've never lost my love for this,” Turner says. “When I first started, my goal was to just be myself and sing songs that meant something to me. To keep the tradition of country alive, but at the same time, make it fresh, make it new. I feel like it gets more challenging over time, but at the end of the day, it's worth it.” Born in The Palmetto State and raised on both faith and country music, Turner has met that challenge like few have. Since his stunning introduction on the Grand Ole Opry stage in 2001 (where fans demanded an encore from the unknown artist, who had just boarded a “Long Black Train” to fame), he's channeled the spirit of classic country, gospel and Appalachian roots into an instantly recognizable brand, with a purposeful mix of modern-timeless appeal. A beloved Opry cast member he's sold over 6 million albums – including his Platinum-certified Long Black Train breakout, and the 3X Platinum Your Man after that. Likewise, Turner's 5 billion career streams and five Number Ones helped drive 15 RIAA certifications – often pairing his steady sound with a through-line of romantic dedication. Yet every few years another trend would spark to life … and like clockwork, Turner would stay his course. This Country Music Thing finds him on the same heading and feeling no less excited about the destination.

In his storied career in Country music, Trace Adkins has sold over 11 MILLION albums, charted 40 singles on Billboard's Country Airplay Chart, earned numerous awards, multiple GRAMMY nominations, and garnered over 2 BILLION streams. A Grand Ole Opry member for two decades, the Louisiana native is known for his dynamic baritone, fiery live performance, and notable roles as an actor in film and TV. Since his 1996 breakout debut DREAMIN' OUT LOUD delivered smashes “Every Light In The House,” which hit Top 5 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart and #1 “This Ain't (No Thinkin' Thing),” Adkins has pioneered a mix of classic Country minded traditionalism and adventurous, good-natured showmanship, breaking open new avenues in modern Country through fun-filled hits like “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” and “Hillbilly Bone” with Blake Shelton. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of his debut with 2021's release THE WAY I WANNA GO (Verge Records), the 25-song album has been applauded by Billboard as “a creative tour de force that serves up the lyrical and stylistic diversity that would make his hero [Ronnie] Milsap proud,” with Rolling Stone calling it “lighthearted club-ready fun…,” and PEOPLE praising it as “packed to the hilt with hits.” From profound traditional balladry to clever-Country party anthems, the Mickey Jack Cones and Derek George produced project features special guests Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Melissa Etheridge, Pitbull, Snoop Dogg, Stevie Wonder on harmonica and more. Adkins is currently on tour playing headline shows spanning coast to coast throughout the year.

To the Limit: Ultimate Eagles Tribute
From A Boy Named Sue to Ring of Fire to Rusty Cage, Johnny Folsom 4 is the ultimate tribute to the legendary Man in Black. While nobody really sounds like Johnny Cash, nobody sounds more like Johnny Cash than Johnny Folsom 4. Lead singer David Burney’s lilting southern baritone delivers Cash’s classic songs so well you may well wonder from time to time if Johnny himself is in the building. David Gresham fills the shoes of Luther and Carl Perkins on those classic guitar licks, while Randy Benefield (drums) and Steve Eisenstadt (bass) provide that hallmark, train-like rhythm the whole world knows and loves. No Depression Magazine says “For those of us unable to have seen Cash perform during his life, this is more than a treat. It’s a time machine.” When it comes to honoring Johnny Cash, JF4 walks the line.”
