    Join us at the Dahlonega Gold Museum for some classic summertime games! A watermelon seed spitting contest, and an egg race! The town square will be very festive that day with a parade earlier in the afternoon. You can get an awesome view of the parade from our historic balcony! The games will be held outdoors on museum property, after the parade. Admission to the museum will include taking part in the games if so desired , as well as access to the balcony. The balcony is only accessible by staircase. Parking fee required

    We are thrilled to announce that KC Bison Ranch will be hosting a new annual outdoor concert event in the beautiful North Georgia mountains. KC Bison Summer Jam will take place on the last Saturday in July each year, with our inaugural event kicking off on July 25th 2026. Guests can enjoy an unforgettable evening of live music set against the stunning backdrop of the ranch. The event will feature three live bands, including Kurt Thomas, Radford Windham, and Angie Rey as the headlining act. The bands will play a variety of music including your favorite country, rock, and throwbacks. In addition to great music, attendees can enjoy local wine and beer vendors, food trucks and vendors, some which will feature our field harvested & grass-fed bison meat, and a spectacular fireworks show to close out the evening. We anticipate growing KC Bison Summer Jam into a lasting annual tradition for our community and visitors alike. As part of that mission, a portion of ticket sales will be donated to a local non-profit, Connectability allowing the event to give back directly to the community that supports it.
