Hosted by The Georgia Appalachian Trail Club and in support of the GATC’s mission to preserve, promote, and protect the trail, the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour Blairsville Screening is a fan favorite for those seeking adventure and inspiration. Get off the beaten path and explore the edge of believable with captivating stories from the 48th Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival, coming to The Union County Fine Arts Center, on Saturday, March 29 at 2 PM. Stand on the highest peaks, ski the steepest slopes, and be a part of the gripping adventures waiting for you in this year’s Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour. From exploring remote landscapes to adrenaline-fueled action sports, films selected for the 2024/2025 World Tour are sure to captivate and amaze you. Be moved. Be inspired. Don’t miss out. Previews of the selected films showing at the Blairsville screening will be shared soon! The Georgia Appalachian Trail Club and its partners welcome you to join us in the Fine Arts Center lobby at 1 PM, before the films start, to learn more about the work of our organizations and meet some of the local organizations that support the hiking and trail community in our region!

Downtown Blairsville is the place to be Saturday April 19th from 10am- 5pm! Join us for our Fifth Annual Spring Downtown Market and experience our friendly, small town atmosphere!Bring the family and join us for over 4O vendors, featuring locally crafted jewelry, home decor, clothing, foods, art, woodworking and vintage goods! The kids will enjoy our petting zoo, face painting, live pottery demonstration and other activities. Grab a bite to eat from our food trucks and then settle down at the picnic tables or on the "grass" and enjoy some live music! Don't forget the the first Cruise in on the Square Car Show starts at 3 and there is no charge to enjoy the show! Admission is FREE so invite your family and friends and please share the event! During the months of April 19, plan to cruise downtown Blairsville on the third Saturday of the month. Cruise-Ins are also held on the first Saturday from 3-7 pm at the Union County Farmers Market. Hosted by the Blairsville Cruisers Car Club, these events are fun for all!

The Blairsville Cruisers has two events each month April through October. The 1st Saturday each month the Cruise-in to the Union County Farmer’s Market from 3-6 p.m. and the 3rd Saturday each month Cruise-in on the historic Blairsville Square from 3-6 p.m
