PorchFest 2026 is Sunday, September 27, 2026, 11 am – 5 pm, downtown Young Harris. This is a rain or shine event and is free and open to the public. Vendors and community organizations are invited to apply to PorchFest 2026 for a booth. The City has a new software that allows for online applications and payments. New this year is a community jam where those who play instruments can join throughout the day and jam. The jam will be held on the corner of Hwy 76 & 66, near the Zell Miller/HOPE historical marker (grounds of the former YHC Alumni House)
Sharp Memorial UMC will host pipe organ mini concerts and hymn-sings during the afternoon, in addition to the musical stages at Cable’s Gallery, YH Wing House, and The Fix.
Current band line-up includes Sammy Ensley, New Byers Creek, and The Griddle Lickers at Cable’s. Returning to The Fix is Wilder Things Than Us, and YH Wing House will also be hosting live music (band details forthcoming)!
Main Street will host arts & crafts vendors, community organizations, live music, and food trucks. A raffle will be held for giveaways from vendors.
