Gilmer County will be celebrating Flag Day 2026 as its main America 250 event leading up to July 4th. The event will be held in the Gilmer High School Football stadium and will include a history of our flag presented the Daughters of the American Revolution, the singing of God Bless America, the unfurling of a 50-foot-by-100-foot American flag during the singing of the National Anthem, and concluding with a military flyover.
