The Lake Burton Ski Patriots perform on Sunday afternoon of the 4th of July weekend. The Patriots begin and end the show in Magness Cove by Billy Goat Island. Since the Ski Patriots are an LBCA-sponsored event, the GA DNR was consulted to ensure the Ski Patriots are complying with all applicable laws. The Ski Patriots strive to produce the smallest wake possible while pulling eight skiers. We ask that all boat drivers maintain a courtesy no-wake policy when the Ski Patriots are in their area.
