Make a stop at Santa's Mailbox, where children can write a letter to Santa and, in return, receive a handwritten reply in the mail a few days later. Habitat for Humanity will be there from 12-5 both Friday and Saturday to help any child that needs help to write their letter to Santa. Enjoy Live Entertainment! Join Blue Ridge Scenic Railway for a festive 1-hour train ride on the Holiday Express Experience. During your ride, you will get to listen to holiday music and "The Night Before Christmas" story. Children will receive a Blue Ridge Scenic Railway jingle bell, a candy cane, and a chance to see Santa Claus. Delicious hot chocolate and other snacks are available for purchase inside the concession car. This is one of the Train's most popular holiday events, so reserving tickets ahead of time is highly recommended.
