Summer Vibes Concert Series on the Lake

Join us on the lake this summer for the Summer Vibes Concert Series. Sponsored by The Lake Burton Civic Association and The Rotary Club of Clayton, these free concerts are open to the public. Please note that these concerts are held on the lake, please come by boat (or paddle board, canoe, or float) but we ask you not come by car. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and last between one to two hours. After the Labor Day concert on September 1, stay tuned for an amazing fireworks show! In case of inclement weather, we will post delays or cancelations here and on social media by 6 pm. If you are signed up for LBCA text messages, we will post by text also.

End of summer? No problem, we have just what you need at our second annual Jelly Jam! Open to the public to judge our market members jellies. Enter for a raffle basket or delicious and local treats. Winners will be announced at noon. Lots of flavors to enjoy, LIVE MUSIC, family friendly and good vibes only!

Foxfire Mountaineer Festival

It's time to grow those beards, adjust those bonnets, and get ready to chase some piglets! Join us for the annual Foxfire Mountaineer Festival on Saturday, October 5th from 10 am until 5 pm.Come celebrate Appalachian culture, shop from amazing craft/artisan vendors, listen to some great bluegrass music, eat some yummy food, and see some wonderful Foxfire demonstrators. The kids will enjoy some great ole' time games as well as have the opportunity to engage in Foxfire-based children's class opportunities. The festival will be held at the Rabun County Civic Center and pavilions. Don't miss out on this once a year Rabun County tradition, find out more about Foxfire and it's mission, as well as learn about our great Appalachian heritage.
