A land based artist from the American South, Becky Miller currently lives and works in North Georgia as Gallery Director and an Adjunct Instructor of Art at Young Harris College. Miller received her BS from Wake Forest University in 1985 and a MFA in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2015. Miller’s current work, 3309, is about connection to place as human beings. “I construct artifacts with dirt, soil, clay, crop residue, and found objects to preserve and perpetuate story undergirded by the idea that the earth is your historian.” Miller’s work can be found in private collections throughout the United States.
