Join us Saturday, March 14th, in The Harp Center on the campus of Young Harris College, for a fun night of dance and music with The Swingin’ Medallions! Proceeds support student scholarships from Fannin, Gilmer, Rabun, Towns, and Union counties in Georgia and Cherokee and Clay counties in North Carolina. This year, you get to choose your own theme for the table-decorating contest. Star Wars? The 1970s? Georgia football? It’s up to you! |

Student Juried Art + Design Exhibition This annual exhibition showcases, awards, and celebrates all creative achievements of the Art and Graphic Design major and minor students as well as non-majors who have taken an art course at Young Harris College. The exhibition offers six categories for student submission: Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media/ Printmaking, Graphic Design/Illustration, Photography/Video, and 3D Sculpture/ Ceramics/Installation. A third-party juror awards first, second, and third place as well as Honorable Mention in each category along with the overall award, “Best of Show.” Other awards include the President’s Award; Beauty Can Change the World Award sponsored by YHC Religious Life, and the YHC Art Department Awards which include the Richard Aunspaugh and Birdie Bryan Miller Art Awards. |
