This year’s Pops concert, People and Personas, shines a spotlight on the vibrant characters and personalities that come to life through music and pop culture. From bold heroes to quirky icons, the program celebrates the spirit and style of unforgettable figures through dynamic performances. In case of inclement weather, the performance will be held in Suber Banquet Hall.

Adapted by Dwayne Harford from Kate DiCamillo’s beloved novel, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is more than a children’s story—it’s a profound exploration of love, loss, and emotional awakening, brought to life by an intimate ensemble of actors and musicians. Edward, a porcelain rabbit once too vain to love, is cast adrift—literally and figuratively—on a journey through the hands and hearts of strangers. Though he cannot move or speak, Edward becomes a silent witness to grief, resilience, and hope, ultimately discovering the courage to love again. The play’s emotional depth and minimalist storytelling offer a rare opportunity for audiences to reflect on empathy and transformation in a world that often rushes past both.
