The Gilmer Christian Learning Center is hosting its 19th annual Run for the Son 5K fundraiser. This year the ministry is offering both in-person and virtual options for participants! Join us for an exciting pickleball tournament that supports a great cause—raising funds and awareness for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children. Hosted by the Full Throttle Boyz, this event marks the first-ever Southern Pickleball sanctioned tournament in Ellijay, as it will be powered by the Southern Pickleball crew! 📅 Schedule of Play: Friday, May 30: Mixed Doubles Saturday, May 31: Men’s & Women’s Doubles 🕗 Matches start as early as 8:00 AM. Final start times will be posted and emailed approximately one week prior to the event. 💲 Registration Details: Cost: $50 (includes 1 event); additional events are just $10 FREE Tournament Shirt: Register by May 15th at 11:55 PM to guarantee your shirt! 🏆 Competition Levels: Skill Levels: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+ Age Divisions: 15+, 35+, 50+, 60+ Teams play at the higher-rated player’s skill level and the younger player’s age group. Age is determined as of 12/31/2025.
