For more than 25 years, Bear on the Square Mountain Festival has welcomed thousands of visitors to Dahlonega’s Historic Square for a weekend of traditional mountain and bluegrass music, a juried Artist Market, local musicians jamming around the Square, storytelling, music workshops, food vendors and more. All events are free.

The Dahlonega Arts & Wine Festival is the perfect event for lovers of art, wine, and jazz. Chestatee Artists will present this exciting event for the 9th year in the historic downtown square and adjacent Hancock Park.The focus is on featuring high-quality arts and crafts, fine local and regional wines, craft beer, and terrific jazz performances to entertain our visitors for this genuinely cultural event. The Jazz begins at 1 pm until 5 pm each day, and the Wine & Beer Garden opens at 11 am both days until closing. TICKETS for the wine or beer are purchased AT the Garden! This will be our 35th Anniversary of hosting great Rodeo action at the R-Ranch in the Mountains. Mark your calendars and plan on being with us.
